We are responsible for managing and submitting files to the corresponding authorities, whether IFT or COFEPRIS, ensuring that each procedure is processed quickly and efficiently.

6.- Delivery of Certifications and Permits:

What products require COFEPRIS authorization?

Any health-related product, such as medicines, medical devices, cosmetics and food supplements, must be authorized by COFEPRIS for marketing in Mexico.

What type of products must comply with IFT regulations?

All telecommunications devices and equipment, such as cell phones, routers, and any equipment that uses radio frequencies, must comply with IFT regulations in order to be marketed or imported into Mexico.

How long does the certification process with COFEPRIS or IFT take?

The times may vary depending on the type of procedure and the complexity of the product. On average, procedures before COFEPRIS can take between 4 to 6 months, while before the IFT the times can range between 3 to 5 months, depending on the case.

Can I import products without prior certification?

It is not recommended. Importing products without complying with the certifications required by COFEPRIS or IFT may result in sanctions, retention of goods in customs, or even prohibition of marketing.
